Multigenre Literacy Autobiography

While working on my Multigenre Literacy Activity, I began to remember many of the things that I have forgotten about my past. Some of these things included what used to be my favorite shows, and why I began listening to the music that I listen to now and back when I was younger. I began to see why I chose to like the things that I liked, and how the things that I used to read and/or watch when I was a child, influenced what I like now.
There are several different examples of how the things that I watched, read, and/or listened to when I was younger, influenced the things that I enjoy to this day. For example, the strong presence of Spaghetti Westerns and other Clint Eastwood movies when I was a child, lead me to enjoy reading novels and biographies that had the same western genre. Another great example is the fact that one of my favorite authors today is Jimmy Buffet, who is a singer that I began listening to when I was younger. The Multigenre activity was a great way for me to realize just how important previous influences were to my present day life. This activity also caused me to think about what types of things I will enjoy later on in life.
